Spring Refresh
Oh hiiiiiii. It’s been a minute few years, lol. Well, with the quarantine and all, what better time to bring the ol’ blog back? This time around, I’m going to mix in some of my fun styling work for trend/shopping-focused stories before I force my instagram husband out of retirement. 🤣 First up is this super pop-y spring story Nicholas and I shot in NYC before the holidays. Although my personal closet is still 50 shades of black, I have been venturing out of my comfort zone with colors/prints and I actually like it??! Who have I become?!
I love mixing bright fuchsia with more subdued yellow and cream. I will say pink has become one of my favorite colors to style. It’s such a flattering color on every skin tone. This sunset-y printed tee is the perfect spring essential because you can totally use it as a base layer for tons of looks. Here I dressed it up with a pair of amazing Marni trousers and this yellow Rag & Bone blazer. For the other look I stayed monochromatic for maximum edgy barbie vibes. I paired a sheer fuchsia blouse with this amazing pink Marc Jacobs leather jacket (which I can’t find anywhere online 💔) that I really regret not keeping for my personal closet. Obviously dressing head to toe spring explosion isn’t for everyone, but you can totally mix these types of pieces and colors with your favorite denim, leather, or whites. If that’s still too much, ease in with a pop color accessory and go from there 😜 xo! PS, I forgot how much fun I used to have with this blog thang. Now let’s see if I can keep it up haha
